Red Ribbon
914 E. Colorado
There is a chain of Filipino bakeries called Red Ribbon and there happens to be one on Colorado.
Red Ribbon does serve all sorts of Filipino foods but it's the desserts that I go for.
Two words: Mango Cake
It's lite, not overly sweet, moist, and delicious!!
I needed to bring a dessert for a BBQ, so I picked up a Mango Cake and it was a hit.

How much was the Mango cake? Porto's has a good Mango Mousse cake for $22. I loooove Mango cakes! Good job CC!

Just got back into town....
Red Ribbon has a few sizes for the Mango Cake. The biggest standard round one is $18.99 according to their handout. But they can do bigger sheet cakes and they also have a smaller round one and a log too.
I go to Portos often but haven't had the Mango Mousse Cake yet. Gonna have to give it a try sometime. Thanks for the tip.

porto's mango mousse is heavenly.
at red ribbon there is NOTHING like their halo halo. ok, granted i never ate the anything else--but that's how good their halo halo is. i haven't even been curious.

Two votes for the Porto's Mango Mousse - wil have to try it next time I'm there.
Never had the halo halo at Red Ribbon - will need to give that a go too. Try the Mango cake there though - it's great. Haven't gone wrong taking it to any party situation.

oh god... mango cake is heaven on earth... Red Ribbon could sell just that and they'd make it... I don't know anyone who has tried it and not loved it. my favorite kind of cake.
