Eagle Rock Music Festival
Saturday was the Eagle Rock Music Festival. Colorado Blvd is closed off to car traffic, multiple stages are set up for a bunch of bands, all the businesses are open late into the night and the whole community comes out to enjoy the music and food.
Unfortunately, I totally missed it.
I was at the LA Weekly Detour Music festival in Downtown Los Angeles. I had bought the Detour tickets before I knew the dates of the Eagle Rock Music Festival. Hopefully, next year the two events won't happen on the same date.

I wanted to hit the eagle rock, too, but I'm so glad I went to Detour. Wired All Wrong and Basement jaxx were definitely the highlights.

I have to agree - Basement Jaxx tore it up.

I did the same thing- went to Detour instead. Had a great time, saw lots of old friends and thought Queens were really great- especially the drummer. Wow. Maybe next year I'll hit the Eagle Rock one.

How was the Detour Tour? I wanted to go, but I wasn't willing to dish out the money for tickets. I'll have to check out the Eagle Rock Music Festival next year. Keep us posted.
